“Al-Saggaf Palace: Bridging History for Pilgrims and Community Engagement“

A renovation and rehabilitation project of Al-Saggaf Palace into a cultural learning facility targeting pilgrims and the local community. King Abdulaziz stayed at this palace for some time, adding to its historical significance. This facility includes co-working spaces, open areas, stores, and car parking. Additionally, it features outdoor public spaces and an Islamic garden concept, complete with facilities such as cafes, restaurants, workshop spaces, exhibition areas, and souvenir shops that revive Makkah's arts and crafts. The design aims to create a welcoming environment that supports cultural exchange and learning, preserving the historical essence of the palace while providing contemporary amenities and spaces for community engagement.
